The Story: Four notorious people from Cobourg’s past return from the Afterlife as spirits

                   seeking revenge against the Town for past grievances. A group of six spirits, also from

                   Cobourg’s past, join forces to stop them and send them back to the Afterlife.

 

CHARACTERS

Samuel P. Hart. Was one of the rebels in the Cobourg Conspiracy 1839. Stage age 30 - 55

Ben Lett. Also participated in the Cobourg Conspiracy. Stage age 25 - 55

Bea Lillie. Canadian comedienne from early 1900’s until 1960’s. Stage age 55 +

Sarah Lawson King. Murdered in 1858 by her husband Dr. William King. Stage age 25.

Dr. William King. Hanged in Cobourg in 1859 for the murder of his wife, Sarah. Stage age 25.

Melinda Vandervoort. Dr. King’s girlfriend in 1858. Stage age 21.

Edward Dodds. War hero, U.S. Civil War, Newspaper reporter, Stage age 40 +

Sir John Murray. Explorer of the oceans, scientist in the late 1800's. Stage age 40 +

Great Farini. Tightrope walker, inventor, showman from 1859 -1921. Age 40 +
